Assessment Center
The purpose of the College of Education's Assessment Project is to provide on-going assessment of the teacher education program. Multiple techniques of research and evaluation are used to monitor the strengths and weaknesses within the program relative to the stated goals for professional development. Some of the indicators examined include: student perceptions and attitudes about the program; certification exam results; and evaluations by school personnel of student interns and graduates following their resident year. Very importantly, the project provides a systematic way for students to express their concerns about the program. For further information, contact Dr. Barbara Greene from the Department of Educational Psychology (325-1534, Collings Hall, 326D)
