Career Services

The College of Education, cooperating with Career Services, assists qualified students and alumni in locating and securing teaching positions. School administrators are cordially invited to make full use of these services in their efforts to employ competent teachers for the school systems they administer. Career Services is located in the Oklahoma Memorial Union 329.

Computer Classrooms

The College of Education has two computer classrooms located in Collings Hall. Both computer rooms are designed to assist in the instruction of classes that involve substantial computer and multimedia involvement. The larger classroom has 20 student stations that are both Macintosh and IBM compatible. The smaller classroom has 7 computers and other related multimedia equipment. The smaller classroom is also used as a computer lab for College of Education students.

Student Computer Lab

The student lab is located on the second floor of Collings Hall. It is open from early morning until evenings as posted for students taking education classes. Both Macintosh and PC computers, scanners, and printers are available to supplement classwork or for any other activity related to the students' academic progress. A student assistant is available at all times that the lab is open.

The mission of the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education is to promote inquiry and practices that foster democratic life and that are fundamental to the interrelated activities of teaching, research and practice in the multi-disciplinary field of education.
