Linda Daly
Linda Daly joined the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education Student Services Center in May 1986. She serves as a back-up adviser and oversees the daily operations of the Center.
Maria Laubach
Maria Laubach is an academic counselor for undergraduate students in the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education, joining the college's staff in January 2009.
Maria completed her bachelor's degree at Saratov City State University, Russia in 2001. She earned her master's degree in German at the University of Oklahoma in 2006, with a thesis on the correlation of gender and genre in Franz Kafka's unfinished novel Der Verschollene (The Man Who Disappeared).
Maria previously taught beginning level German and Russian courses at OU, served as an adviser to Russian Club members, and has been engaged in promotion and organization of events representative of German and Russian culture. In 2007, she entered a doctoral program in Educational Studies in the College of Education. Her research interest lies in philosophy and theory of Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi. Considered one of the most prominent Swiss educators in the 18th century, Pestalozzi revolutionized elementary education of his time. His theory and practice served as the basis for the contemporary methods of teaching at early childhood and elementary levels.
