Member, Campus Departmental Review Panel, 2005-2006. This panel is appointed by the Provost. Each department on campus undergoes a self-study review process every seven years. The Campus Departmental Review Panel reviews the information provided by departments in conjunction with University data and external reviews. The CDRP authors an official report on each department under review, submits it to the Provost, and attends the meeting as the Provost discusses details of the report with the department faculty, chair, and dean. Departments then must develop and implement a plan of action to address the recommendations from the CDRP report.

Within the Scholarly Discipline
Program Review Advisory Board, Subcommittee of Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation, 2005-present. This board consists of one representative from each certification program in the State of Oklahoma. PRAB representatives serve as a resource to programs across the state as they prepare their NCATE folios. PRAB representatives also conduct annual roundtable discussions at the Oklahoma Association of Colleges of Teacher Education Conference regarding updates in preparing SPA folios. PRAB members are appointed by the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation. The PRAB is an advisory board to OCTP.

Vice President for Conferences, National Association of Early Childhood Teacher Educators, 2001-2003; re-elected for 2003-2005. Worked with national committee to organize 7 national conferences (New York, Chicago, Anaheim, Albuquerque, Baltimore, Portland, and Miami). Major accomplishments included instituting a peer review process for conference proposals and delivering the organizations first stand-alone conferences (separate from the larger organization of NAEYC).
