OU Tulsa Executive Ed.D. Program

Educational Administration, Curriculum, and Supervision (EACS)

EACS offers a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) degree through our Executive Ed.D. program at the Schusterman Center at the University of Oklahoma Tulsa.  The program is designed to prepare students for administrative and other leadership positions in schools and school districts.

Those who are selcted into the program will be served by a rigorous, high-quality program that is designed to meet the needs of working professionals by offering intensive weekend classes supplemented by outside research activities, field experiences, and individual research for the doctoral dissertation.  All coursework is offered at the Schusterman Center and/or Online.  Nearly all of the courses are taught by full time, Norman campus and OU-Tulsa faculty.  Professionals from Tulsa Public Schools and other local districts will also be involved as team-teachers and course instructors of record.

The format includes a highly intensive cohort graduate degree program.  The first phase of the program includes approximately three years of coursework supplemented by research and residency activities.  The second phase of the program is doctoral dissertation research (the time varies by doctoral candidate).
