Counseling Services
The Counseling Psychology Clinic at the University of Oklahoma offers a full range of personalized counseling services open to all Oklahoma citizens including children, adolescents, adults of all ages, couples & families and college & university students. Counseling is offered for most personal and mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, relationships, marriage and family life, parenting support, child and adolescent behavioral and emotional concerns, coping with grief or trauma, adjustment to illness or disability, school or learning difficulties and career or job decisions or problems. Each person's, couple's or family's needs are different and our services are based on listening to your concerns, respecting your values, getting to know you, and helping identify the types of changes and approaches to counseling that may be the most effective and useful for you.
All our counseling services are provided by our graduate students as a part of their advanced degree programs at the University of Oklahoma and are supervised by the Counseling Psychology faculty. While client satisfaction with our counseling services is very high, our counselors, supervisors and clinic staff are always willing to answer questions or discuss any concerns. We have been a part of OU and the Norman community for over 40 years and have provided services to thousands of Oklahoma citizens and OU students and staff while providing high quality training for hundreds of counseling and counseling psychology students who now practice, teach, conduct research or provide other professional and scholarly services throughout Oklahoma and the United States as well as in a number of other countries around the world. We are honored when someone seeks help though our clinic and are thankful to the many people who give us the privilege of being a part of their lives.
