Confidentiality

We know how uncomfortable it can be to feel free to discuss your personal difficulties and concerns. Our clinic is committed to respecting and protecting the right to confidential services. We protect client confidentiality to the full extent provided by the law. Only counselors-in-training, clinic staff and faculty supervisors have access to client information, and no information will be released to others outside the clinic without the client's written consent. Counselors and supervisors are prepared to discuss the limits of client confidentiality. Please do not hesitate to ask questions. We want you to feel comfortable knowing that confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us. Our clinic is in compliance with HIPAA laws and HIPAA information is provided for our clients upon application for services.
