Counseling Psychology Clinic Campaign

The University of Oklahoma Counseling Psychology Clinic has long been the training facility for graduate students in the College of Education's nationally recognized Counseling Psychology Program. As important, the clinic is also the place where all Oklahomans - regardless of their financial circumstances - can come for counseling and assessment needs.

Clinic director Professor Terry Pace notes: "There is so much good to the clinic and all it does for our students and, thus, for the mental health needs of the state and beyond by providing well-trained professionals. We fill a huge gap in local and area wide counseling, psychological assessment and mental heath services for people who either cannot afford private services or have found us to be a good service provider for their needs."

The College of Education is now raising private funds to help cover the clinic's remodeling and updating expenses. In this way, funds generated by the clinic's fee-for-service activities will provide crucial support for counseling psychology graduate students, while continuing to provide affordable counseling/assessment services for the community. Below, we offer a number of opportunities for donors to name areas within the new clinic.
