Campaign for Collings Hall

Collings Hall

Completed in 1952, Ellsworth Collings Hall has been home to University of Oklahoma College of Education students, faculty and staff for more than 50 years. In that time, the College has experienced tremendous growth that exceeds the capacity of the existing building, resulting in the need for a major addition. It's time to Open New Windows in the College of Education.

To meet the growing and evolving needs of our students and to ensure that the College of Education continues its tradition of providing an outstanding and challenging educational environment, OU President David L. Boren has approved a capital fund-raising campaign aimed at constructing a 17,000-square-foot addition to Collings Hall focused on much-needed classroom and direct student-use space.

Collings Hall LayoutImproved facilities are necessary in order to provide the most appropriate learning environment and to allow the College to continue to recruit and retain the best students and top faculty. The proposed addition and renovation are critical to our continued success in meeting the University mission of providing the best possible educational experience for our students through excellence in teaching, research and creative activity, and service to the state and society.
